Kint is tavasz, majd bent is tavasz volt.
Soproni művészek festményeit láttuk a jelenlegi évszakról. A kiállításon lehetett előttük hosszan
A visit to an art gallery is an uplifting experience. It reveals the pleasing side of human creativity. It seems to me that even the most skilled photographer (and there are many) is incapable of capturing the beauty of a scene in the way that an accomplished artist can. I bet you were inspired! Enjoy the week ahead. David
VálaszTörlésWhen we were planning our weekend programs, there was no question that this exhibition would be one of them. They change the theme every month, most recently we saw photos about Formula 1.
TörlésYou know what's good? There's no entrance fee, and you can take photos if you want. I took all the photos you can see here. If we had to, we would have paid, of course, but it's still good to know that there are places where art is not part of a business.
I really like good photos, you probably already know this about me, and I really appreciate the work of many good photographers.
For me, however, photography is still the brain, and painting is the heart.
TörlésEbben a kiállítóteremben havonta cserélik a témát, most éppen a tavaszról vannak festmények.
Wouah! Eva such a colourful Spring! Love the paintings Beautiful! The 3rd and 4th ones are my favourites. You have been lucky!
VálaszTörlésCatherine, the paintings in this exhibition hall change every month and there is no entrance fee, just the enjoyment. All the painters live or have lived in my own town.
TörlésIt's good to know that you have favorites, I just looked them up. There were so many paintings on the walls that I couldn't even choose favorites in the end. But there were some!:)
Yes, I'm lucky, there are many museums and exhibition halls in Sopron ( my town), and they are very good to visit them as a weekend program. M. always comes with me and we enjoy them together.
Hugs. Éva
Éva, what a lovely visit to that art gallery; I really enjoyed seeing the paintings through your eyes. If I had to choose one to hang on my wall, I think I would go for the first one… but the third one is beautiful too. Which one would you choose for your home?
VálaszTörlésYou’re so lucky to have a museum like that in your city. It actually made me think — there is a museum in my town as well, but I’ve never even been there. I think it has something to do with wool spinning, though I’m not entirely sure.
In my town, there used to be a wool factory called the Scheephuiswol factory. It was a place where wool from sheep was processed — cleaned, spun into yarn, and then used to make textiles. It’s a bit of local history that I realize I don’t know enough about.
Thank you for sharing your visit — I really enjoyed it. Wishing you a peaceful and gentle week. 💛
Lots of love: your Dutch blog friend
My dearest Dutch blog friend:), I would choose the second one, I love watercolor. There were many watercolor paintings at the exhibition, and I liked them all.
TörlésI didn't before, but recently I like paintings that depict moods with colors. I also like to write about moods, but it's so difficult to make them feel with words. Colors can give a mood. That's why I would even put the third one on display.
I saw so many paintings at the exhibition that I couldn't even put into this post. The exhibitions are changed every month, the topic is always different. It's spring now, and I understand that.
If you can, go to museums, but I can't give you any advice. Sometimes you need variety, and if you haven't been to the museum that's related to wool spinning, maybe a break from the everyday life will be good.
May your week be as beautiful as you want it to be.
Your Hungarian blog friend, Éva
